Recordings of each lesson will be posted within a day. All recordings will remain accessible for the academic year.
Course Description
For students who have completed the twelve-week ‘Learn to Recite the Qur'an’ programme, this course provides a weekly practice in applying the rules of tajwid now learnt.
Due to the practical nature of the course, registration will be limited to six students.
Prerequisites
Completion of the ‘Learn to Recite the Qur'an’ course, or equivalent.
About the Instructor
Abrar Mehmood
Imam Abrar Hussain Mehmood has served as an imam and teacher at a number of public institutions and Islamic schools throughout Oxfordshire for over a decade. He memorised the Qur'an in Leicester, graduated with an Aalimiyyah Degree from Al Salam Institute in 2012, and received licenses to teach from a number of scholars in the UK, Qatar, Morocco, India, and Pakistan. He is currently specialising in hadith studies and the ten transmitted recitals (qira'at) of the Qur'an, and is an active teacher of the Islamic disciplines to students throughout the UK.
